Bank Local is a marketing initiative designed to align values,
build relationships and promote the importance of community credit unions
Over the past 30 years we have seen community banking decline in population from over 20,000 banks to around 6,000 banks. Community banks represent approximately 10% of the assets held by ALL banks and yet are responsible for almost 50% of ALL small business loans in the United States today. These loans fuel the businesses that support local economy by creating jobs, tax revenue, products and services that make a community unique.
Community banks understand this.
They understand the seasonality of tourism and agriculture and have the ability to be nimble and adjust.
They value relationships and the personal legacies both as borrower and lender who share a passion for their community and the desire to make it a better place to live.
Bank Local is a marketing initiative dedicated to promoting these values and the community banks who demonstrate them everyday.
